Jim Donovan is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, with a B.M. in Music Education with a focus on vocal music. He also holds a Masters of Music Education Degree from Gordon College. Mr. Donovan worked in the Methuen Public Schools during his student teaching placement. In the Duxbury Public Schools he presently directs the choirs at DHS and DMS as well as teaching music technology, piano lab, general music and SGI lessons. Mr. Donovan previously worked at the Chandler School and Alden Elementary School teaching first, second, third and fifth grade general music classes, SGI’s and the fifth grade chorus. Mr. Donovan also directs the show choir and men’s acapella and was proud to work with the students in producing the school musicals each year.
